How we get prices
Última atualização: October 2026
Kinds of prices
- Paid is what a family paid. It shows as a filled dot.
- Quoted is what a clinic quoted a family. It shows as a hollow dot.
- Verified is a price backed by an invoice we checked. It has a gold ring.
- From a public post is a price someone mentioned in a public discussion. It shows as a dashed dot and links to the post. These prices alone never make a range appear.
When a range appears
A range appears once at least 3 families have shared a price, so no one can be picked out. We round ranges and middle prices to the nearest $100.
How we check prices
- Every form has a spam check.
- A person reviews any price far outside the usual range for that item.
- Clinics can dispute a price with evidence. They cannot edit or delete it.
- AI never writes prices.
How we keep it current
- Every price shows its year. Ranges use the last 2 years and leave out older prices.
- Families can edit or delete their prices any time from Your account.
- Anyone can confirm a clinic detail or suggest a fix.
- Details nobody has confirmed in 12 months are marked as possibly out of date.
Clinic data
US clinic success rates come from the CDC's 2022 assisted reproductive technology report, the latest clinic-level data the CDC has published. Clinics in other countries come from the open places data of the Overture Maps Foundation (CDLA Permissive 2.0), plus contact details from each clinic's website.
Cost per live birth (estimate)
On US clinic pages we divide the middle IVF cycle price by the clinic's CDC live-birth rate for each age group. Use it to compare clinics. Your own cost depends on your diagnosis, your medications and how many transfers you need.
